Hi, I’m Koda.
I’m 7 years old.

Why I started this

We just moved to Encinitas from Tanzania in Africa. When I was there, I saw lots of trash. I also saw that lots of people didn’t have jobs.

It made me want to do something helpful. So I started a business! I can help my neighbors with their trash bins and earn my own money.

It’s called Trash Day Valet.

Here’s what I do

Something I’m saving for

A new bunny.

A coyote ate my bunny, and I’m really sad about it. I’m saving up to buy a Holland Lop bunny. They have floppy ears. Every time I help with your bins, I get a little closer to my goal.

My job is pretty simple

I take your bins out.
Then I put them back.

1.

Tell me where they are.

And tell me what day the trash truck comes.

2.

I roll them out.

Your trash and recycling bins go to the curb before trash day.

3.

I bring them back.

After the truck comes, your bins go back in their spot. I do it every week!

A few questions

Do I have to be home?

Nope! Just tell us where your bins are and how to get to them.

What is included?

We take out your trash and recycling bins, bring them back after pickup, and sanitize the lids and handles each week.

When do my bins come back?

After the trash truck comes, usually later that same day.

What if I want to stop?
